This tote bag features the image of granite wall of Chantal Miller Gallery, was a magazine built between 1863 and 1868. This former magazine is among the oldest remaining military buildings from the colonial period in Hong Kong.
It is constructed with thick granite wall and was used to store explosives and designed to contain accidental explosions. Now listed as Grade I historic building, it has been thoughtfully restored and adapted for use as a modern exhibition space of international museum standards.
